Saint Petersburg is a beautiful city. Much more European than Russian. They call it the Russian Versailles. Even though the weather was cold and wet, the trip was really great. We even liked the 24 hour train rides!

We were lucky, the fountains in Saint Petersburg were turned on right before we got there. There are so many fountains there and it was beautiful!

Inside St. Issac's Cathedral, it was a really beautiful and inspiring cathedral. Usually you can't take pictures inside of cathedrals, but this one was not an active cathedral.

Saint Petersburg was so lovely, pictures can't quite do it justice. We hope to come back sometime in the summer when everything is in bloom!
